An Energy-Aware Post-Quantum Ascon–ML-KEM Cryptographic Framework for Low-Latency UAV Remote Sensing Communications

About this publication

Research focus and approach

UAV communication must balance data protection with limited onboard energy and processing resources. This work combines lightweight Ascon protection with ML-KEM key establishment for post-quantum security. The study connects secure remote-sensing communication with latency and resource constraints; it concerns cryptography on conventional hardware, rather than a quantum-computing algorithm.
