Smart infrastructure connects sensing, communication and control, allowing malicious activity to develop across several stages. This study examines that problem through a simulation-driven cybersecurity framework. Its focus is the progression of attacks in cyber-physical infrastructure and the use of simulated system behaviour to support detection.
